     If you came for an overnight stay Lone Tree Village Mobile Home is a splendid site to camp, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Douglas is a wonderful choice. At Nichols Reservoir Number 2 through the summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Nichols Reservoir Number 2 nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.  
   This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Douglas Koa if you're here at Nichols Reservoir Number 2; not far from Nichols Reservoir Number 2 you'll find Moore Reservoir which is a lovely lake. At Moore Dam near Nichols Reservoir Number 2 there are some interesting things to see, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Douglas Inn & Conference Center is a splendid place to spend a night or two.

               Mountain from Nichols Reservoir Number 2 is beautiful, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by East Side Reservoir Number 3. Nichols Reservoir Number 2 is pretty arid typically; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January.
