Summer at Newton Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Newton Lakes. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Absaroka Range. While you're here at Newton Lakes, you could also take a look at gorgeous Beck Lake. Dry warm beds await you at The Cody, and do check out City       Reservoir, it's a scenic lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Newton Lakes has to offer. If you want a little side journey, try Shoshone Canyon, and a spree to Newton Lakes wouldn't be complete without taking a look at DeMays Springs. All year is a delightful time in the Absaroka Range if you like the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Newton Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, TK's RV Park is                  a wonderful place for that, and if you come at the right time of year, Shoshone River offers some great whitewater. At Newton Lakes you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. If you need a place to stay Cody Cowboy Village is a magnificent choice, and some nearby water includes Trail Creek. Newton Lakes is located in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful.
