Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Lauzer Fish Pond Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Boulder Creek. It is very dried up here at New Fork Lakes usually; the wettest month of the year is usually January,       that's the one that snows the most; July is when it's the driest. If you need a spot to stay Hampton Inn Suites Pinedale is a good choice; don't leave New Fork Lakes without first going for a hike along the New Fork Canyon Trail. All the outdoors fun stuff near New Fork Lakes will keep you coming back many times. Stay the night at New York Campground, and there's whitewater on Green River for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds                  await you at Baymont Inn and Suites Pinedale; you can go for a hike on the Boulder Basin Trail. There's so much to do here at New Fork Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, The Narrows Campground is a magnificent place for that, and nice hiking is available along the Pot Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at New Fork Lakes during the months of summer are in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 30's.
