What a nice lake Myrtle Lake is. If you came for an overnight stay Cross Creek Campground is a splendid place to camp. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Bighorn Mountains. Hiking along the Solitude Trail is tremendous fun; if you come at the right time of year, Tensleep Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. Myrtle Lake is commonly a pretty dry spot; the month of April is the wettest with most of the snow while February is

Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cliff Lake Trail, and why not camp at Highland Park Campground since you're here at Myrtle Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains. All through the summer months at Myrtle Lake temperatures are typically in the 60's.
