You could also go to Graham Reservoir Number 1 if you're here at Murray Reservoir; it's close by. There's so much to do here at Murray Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, China Meadows Campground is a pleasant spot for that. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Blacks       Fork - East Fork, and the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Tipperary Reservoir; needless to say Gilbert Creek is a stunning stream that is worth taking a look at. This is a popular site for folks from Evanston, and if you come at the right time of year, Blacks Fork - West Fork offers some nice whitewater. It is very arid here at Murray Reservoir typically; the month with most of the                  rain is September while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Fossil Country Inn & Suites; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the High Line Trail. At Murray Reservoir through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Murray Reservoir are in the 0's. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Murray Reservoir has it all. Put some time aside to spend at Rocky Springs since you're here at Murray Reservoir.
