Murray Reservoir is generally a quite dehydrated location; September is the month that gets the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. If you're popping by Murray Reservoir from Evanston, you won't be the only one It's always tremendous to stop at Rocky Springs. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Murray Reservoir is so good! Camping       is available at West Marsh Lake Campground, and there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Emigrant Trail. The Bear River Smiths Fork Trail is a splendid hiking trail near Murray Reservoir, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Blacks Fork - East Fork. Why not camp at China Meadows Campground if you're here at Murray Reservoir, and a lake nearby is Graham Reservoir. If you come at the right time of year, Blacks Fork - West Fork offers some great                  whitewater, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the High Line Trail. Summer at Murray Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Murray Reservoir fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Fossil Butte National Monument is recommended.
