This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range. Mud Lake gets very little precipitation; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is typically the driest month. All year is a fine time in the Wind River Range if you love the outdoors. If you came for an overnight stay The Narrows Campground is a great place to camp. Good hiking is available along the South Gypsum Trail; why not camp at Whiskey Grove       Campground since you're here at Mud Lake. For the duration of the days of summer at Mud Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 30's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Mud Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Dubois, and paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun. So many exciting things to                  do here in the Wind River Range, too magnificent to be true. Do explore Brook Lake in the neighborhood of Mud Lake, it's a stunning lake, and Green River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. A pretty lake like Mud Lake in close proximity to Mud Lake is a delightful site to stop by; you can go for a hike on the Lake of the Woods Trail. You clearly have to go for Mud Lake.
