The beauty of Mud Lake attracts many people from all around. Mud Lake is a location that is reasonably dehydrated usually; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range.
Through the summertime months highs here at Mud Lake get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are generally

| | in the 30's with temperatures at Mud Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff right next door to Mud Lake. After a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the C M Trail is always a pleasant adventure. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a nice place for that, | |

and a nice place for whitewater paddling is Wind River - East Fork.
This lake is so wonderful. There are great places to look at along the Whiskey Mountain Trail, and a pleasant tour to Whiskey Basin is a perfect way to spend
an afternoon. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more amusing stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a brilliant place to get some rest; you can stay the night at Longhorn RV & Motel. If you're here
at Mud Lake, you could go to Torrey Creek, and nearby you find the Ross Lake Trail which is a good hiking trail.
Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. You can run the rapids of Wind River in close proximity to Mud Lake, and not far from Mud Lake you'll stumble on Trail Lake which is a wonderful lake.
