Don't forget to take a nice little spree to Buckley Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mud Lake; North High Park Trail is a great local trail. Man, is there heaps of cool stuff to do close to Mud Lake. The Adelaide Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Horn Ski is relatively near. If you came for an overnight stay Medicine Lodge Lake Campground is a great site to camp.       Lakes are glorious; Adelaide Lake is a lake that's close to Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Upper Paint Rock Lake Campground; there's tremendous hiking along the Edelman Trail. Around Mud Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; April is the wettest month with most snow; February is the month with the least moisture. Mud Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bighorn Mountains. Be careful coming to the Bighorn Mountains, you might                  not ever wanna return back home again. Paintrock Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by; if you need a site to stay Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY is a wonderful choice. During the summer months at Mud Lake temperatures are regularly in the 60's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 30's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and night lows during the winter for Mud Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Tongue River; after a long day outdoors The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Yeah, come up here to the Bighorn Mountains for a great time.
