It's always fun to stop by Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Antelope Butte has great slopes and a friendly staff. Yeah, come up here to the Bighorn Mountains for a delightful time. Glide down the rapids of Paintrock Creek in a kayak, and good skiing awaits you at Big Horn Ski. All the outdoors cool things in the Bighorn Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. If you need a spot to stay Log Cabin Motel is a great choice, and Mud Lake is a good location

| | to camp, Upper Paint Rock Lake Campground is a good location. Mud Lake is right by the Adelaide Trail, and you can stay the night at Medicine Lodge Lake Campground. At Mud Lake throughout the summer highs are in the 60's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Mud Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Mud Lake. The | |

North High Park Trail offers hiking at its best, and a lake nearby is Adelaide Lake. Take a little trip to Buckley Creek while you're here at Mud Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Tongue River. At Mud Lake you don’t
see much rainfall; through April this area sees the most snow, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the Edelman Trail, and dry warm beds await you at The Passage Resort at Big Horn. Mud Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bighorn Mountains.
