Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Green River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mosquito Lake; Warm Springs Trail is a nice local trail. At Mosquito Lake you don’t see much rainfall; most of the snow falls during January while July is typically the driest month. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more cool things to do in the Wind River Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can       always stop by nearby Mud Lake, and you can stay the night at Whiskey Grove Campground. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Wind River Range. There's so much to do here at Mosquito Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Triangle C Ranch Snowmobile is a brilliant place for that; a great close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Dubois. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Dollar Lake is a lake that's close                  to Mosquito Lake, and great hiking is available along the South Fork Fish Creek Trail. Mosquito Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. Any time is a nice time at Mosquito Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Get drenched paddling on Boulder Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Pass Creek Trail. During the summer highs here at Mosquito Lake get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's.
