     You might want to pay a visit to Dry Draw while you're here at Morton Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Morton Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Lone Tree Village Mobile Home is a glorious place for that. After a long day outdoors Best Western Douglas Inn & Conference Center is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and Morton Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Douglas Koa is a wonderful local campground. This  
   lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Morton Reservoir, for example Buck Reservoir; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Douglas is a great choice. Summer at Morton Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Morton Reservoir dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.

               Sure, Enlargement Tailings Basin Evaporation Reservoir is nearby. Not much rainfall falls here at Morton Reservoir; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.
