Not much rainfall falls here at Moose Lake; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is when it's the driest. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Wind River Range. After a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. For the period of the warm days of summer at Moose Lake highs are commonly in the 80's       with overnight lows in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Moose Lake descend into the 10's. Why not camp at Circle Up Camper Court Shop since you're here at Moose Lake, and going for a hike on the Dinwoody Trail is always a glorious adventure. A great close by hotel is Super 8 Dubois, and you can run the rapids of Bull Lake Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There is                  a tremendous hiking trail near Moose Lake called the Dry Creek Trail, and you're possibly interested in lakes, Grassy Lake is one of those close by. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do close to Moose Lake. A brilliant site to camp here at Moose Lake is Longhorn RV & Motel, and get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Wind River. That right there is a heap of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Wind River Range has it all. Near Moose Lake you stumble on the Ink Wells Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes?
