     A picturesque lake like East Side Reservoir Number 3 in the vicinity of Moore Reservoir is a brilliant place to go to; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Douglas. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Douglas Koa since you're here at Moore Reservoir, and from Moore Reservoir you get a fine panorama of Table Mountain. Lone Tree Village Mobile Home is a perfect local campground, and Nichols Reservoir Number 2 is a glorious lake nearby. Now, you may  
   imagine that's loads but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Moore Reservoir.
Why not check out Moore Dam since you're here, and Best Western Douglas Inn & Conference Center is a splendid place to get some rest. At Moore Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is usually the driest month. At Moore Reservoir all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. When the night sets
 
               in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Moore Reservoir dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights.
