to check out close to Montana Lake, obviously you could also pop by Mud Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. Montana Lake is brilliant enough
to spend more than a day at, Iron Creek Lake is a brilliant local campground, and there's some flowing water close by, Dry Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. Montana Lake is not the only spot close by, Murray Lake
is a close by lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Spearfish Creek.
