At Montana Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Travelodge Spearfish is a good location to get some rest, and nearby you locate Bear Gulch which is a good site to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the       Beaver Ridge Trail, and do check out Mud Lake, it's a beautiful lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Montana Lake. A delightful lake like Murray Lake close to Montana Lake is a tremendous spot to pop by; if you need a place to stay Days Inn Spearfish is a great choice. Don't leave Montana Lake without first going for a hike along the Bear Gulch Trail. There's so much to do here at Montana Lake that you need to camp                  here for a while, Timon Campground is a delightful site for that. All through the summertime at Montana Lake highs are generally in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Montana Lake fall into the 10's. Montana Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Iron Creek Lake is a glorious local campground, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Spearfish Creek.
