    Many people like to go to Monroe Lake. Scab Creek Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and Wolf Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Wind River Range is unbeatable! If you come at the right time of year, Pole Creek offers some fine whitewater; hiking along the Lowline Trail is wonderful fun.
This lake is so wonderful. Divide Dam is an attention-grabbing
 
   thing to check out, and going for a hike along the Sage Basin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Monroe Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout May, and the driest of the months is February.
For the period of the months of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Monroe Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the
 
               20's, and nighttime lows at Monroe Lake during the winter commonly descend into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Divide Lake near Monroe Lake, it's a delightful lake, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Wind River Range. Stay the night at Boulder Campground, and float down the rapids of Boulder Creek in a kayak.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area right next door to Monroe Lake has to offer. Looking for some flowing water? Try Middle Fork Boulder Creek, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Scab Sage Trail.
