Modglin Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. Get soaked paddling on Shoshone River, and an out of the ordinary thing to pop by close to Modglin Reservoir is Modglin Dam. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent place to camp here at Modglin Reservoir is Jack Creek Campground, and there's great hiking along the Trout Creek Trail. Don't you try       to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Modglin Reservoir. Camping at Hitching Post Campgrounds is always a delightful experience. Lakes? Sure, Stonebridge Reservoir is close by. Be careful coming to the Absaroka Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. Not far from Modglin Reservoir, you'll stumble on Swan Creek Number 7 Reservoir which is a delightful lake, and since you're here, you could explore East Fork Jordan Creek. That                  right there is lots of cool things already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Modglin Reservoir; Ishawooa Trail is a great local trail, and whitewater paddling is good on Greybull River. Not much rainfall falls here at Modglin Reservoir; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. The Cody is a nice location to get some rest; don't leave Modglin Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Table Mountain Trail. High temperatures at Modglin Reservoir through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
