Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Fortress Lakes in the neighborhood of Mistymoon Lake, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Main Paint Rock Trail. Mistymoon Lake is a location       that is relatively dry commonly; through April this area sees the most snow; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Mistymoon Trail, and Lake Geneva Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bighorn Mountains. For the period of the summertime here at Mistymoon Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 60's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into                  the 30's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Mistymoon Lake temperatures drop to the 0's.
