This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. Upper Fremont Lake Campground is a nice local campground; there's whitewater on Boulder Creek for all you adrenaline people. During the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Mistake Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Mistake Lake dipping down into       the 10's through winter nights. Mistake Lake is right by the Glacier Trail; if you want to take a look at some attention-grabbing stuff, take a look at Fremont Glaciers. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant journey to Indian Basin is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Wind River Range has to offer. Not far from Mistake Lake, you'll come across Titcomb Lakes which is a stunning lake, and there                  are some splendid whitewater spots on Pole Creek. Having a good time in the Wind River Range is simple. Why not camp at Trails End Campground since you're here at Mistake Lake; the top of Fremont Peak is easily seen from Mistake Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Indian Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. Lakes are brilliant; Mistake Lake is a lake that's near Mistake Lake. Any time is a great time at Mistake Lake if you like the outdoors. Best Western Pinedale Inn is a nice spot to get some rest, and there's good hiking along the Titcomb Basin Trail.
