Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the neighborhood of Miner Lake. A fine nearby hotel is Best Western Pinedale Inn, and Pole Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Miner Lake is right by the Titcomb Basin Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Elbow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck,       Big Water Slide is right close by, and camping at Trails End Campground is always a great experience. Miner Lake is a location that is relatively dry usually; June is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. During the long summer days at Miner Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Miner Lake dipping down                  into the 10's throughout winter nights. The Shannon Pass Trail offers hiking at its best, and the panorama of beautiful Elbow Peak is good. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Wind River Range. After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Pinedale is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Wind River Range. A great place to stop by close to Miner Lake is Moya Canyon, and camping is available at Upper Fremont Lake Campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Seneca Lake Trail; unsurprisingly, this is a nice area for folks who like lakes, Upper Jean Lake is a lake nearby.
