For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Miller Lake through the winter regularly sink into the 10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. It is very dried out here at Miller Lake usually; July is when you get the most rain here, and the       driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Pache Trail, and there are some good whitewater spots on Laramie River. Snowy Range is a very popular ski area in close proximity; if you're here, you could also explore gorgeous Lake Owen. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great earth it would be. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Miller Lake; Medicine Bow Trail is a splendid                  local trail; Lake Owen is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains. There are plenty of people from Laramie here at Miller Lake. All year is a great time in the Medicine Bow Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Go for a hike on the Mendenhall Trail, and Miller Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Evans Creek Campground is a good site to camp nearby.
