Going for a hike on the Rauth Trail is always a tremendous adventure,       and why not camp at Hawken Ranch and Hawken Guest Ranch if you're here at Miller Creek Reservoir. Miller Creek Dam is worth checking out since you're here, and a glorious close by hotel is Best Western Devils Tower Inn. Miller Creek Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Black Hills. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Black Hills. Near Miller Creek Reservoir you locate the Simmons Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail,                  and Devil's Tower Fort is a wonderful local campground. For the duration of the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Miller Creek Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
