You simply must like Miller Creek Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Lanning Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Black Hills. Mountain View Campground is a splendid campground here, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Simmons Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Arrowhead Motel, naturally you could also go to Gose Reservoir if       you're here; it's not far at all. Miller Creek Dam is charming and it's in the vicinity of Miller Creek Reservoir; if you need a location to stay Rimrock Lodge is a nice choice. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Black Hills. Camping at Miller Creek Reservoir is good fun, Devil's Tower Fort is a good local campground, and going for a hike on the Rauth Trail is always a good adventure. At Miller Creek Reservoir during the summer months highs are in                  the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Miller Creek Reservoir.
