Drift down the rapids of North Platte River in a kayak, and a magnificent spot to camp here at Middle Long Lake is Mirror       Lake Campground. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Take a hike on the Medicine Bow Trail; the landscape is dominated by the Snowy Range. It is very dried out here at Middle Long Lake commonly; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is February. High temperatures at Middle Long Lake through the summer months are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's.                  For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and night lows at Middle Long Lake during the winter mostly plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Heart Lake near Middle Long Lake is a brilliant site to check out, and a great close by hotel is The Sage And Sand Motel LLC. This lake is so wonderful. First Enlargement of Wiant Dam is stunning and it's near Middle Long Lake. While you're here at Middle Long Lake you can take a hike along the Circle Trail, and why not camp at Lewis Lake Campground while you're here at Middle Long Lake. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is abundant here in the Medicine Bow Mountains.
