Middle Fork Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Scab Creek Campground is a nice local campground, and there's nice hiking along the Fremont Trail. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are truly plentiful here at Middle Fork Lake. Not far from Middle Fork Lake, you'll stumble on Shelia Lake which is a striking lake, and there are perfect places to explore along the Middle       Fork Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Bull Lake Creek, and a good spot to take a look at is Kagevah Pass. Middle Fork Lake is typically a rather dry spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and December on the other hand is the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Middle Fork Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly                  in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Middle Fork Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's.
