Through the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Meredith Reservoir, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows at Meredith Reservoir all through the winter generally dip into the 0's. Lakes are such serene sites, why not explore Warriner Reservoir near Meredith       Reservoir, and nearby you stumble on the Roosevelt Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Bear Gulch Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close to Meredith Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Sheridan is a splendid location to spend a night or two. So much enjoyable stuff next to Meredith Reservoir, completely incredible. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn & Suites Sheridan; if you're visiting                  from Sheridan, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tongue River, and going for a hike on the Tepee Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Around Meredith Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls during May, and February is the month with the least moisture. Roberts Reservoir is a nice lake near Meredith Reservoir, and Meredith Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Sheridan Koa Kampground is a tremendous local campground.
