Earley Creek is a delightful location to check out. There's so much to do here at Meredith Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Foothills Motel and Campground is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Meredith Reservoir through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through       the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Meredith Reservoir. The Bear Gulch Trail is a nice hiking trail in close proximity to Meredith Reservoir, and Meredith Reservoir is not far at all from Sheridan. Going for a hike on the Tepee Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and Meredith Dam is a gorgeous place. So much cool stuff to do here at Meredith Reservoir, too perfect to be true. Near Meredith Reservoir                  you hit upon the Roosevelt Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and you can stay the night at Sheridan Koa Kampground. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Antelope Butte, and a perfect close by hotel is Ranchester Western Motel. If you need a spot to stay Cool Enterprises is a great choice; get soaked paddling on Tongue River.
