Don't leave Meeks Lake without first going for a hike along the Francis Lake Tail, and Meeks Lake is tremendous enough       to spend more than a day at, Big Sandy Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Diamond Lake Trail is always a good adventure, and camping at Dickinson Creek Campground is always a tremendous experience. Meeks Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range.
