Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Medicine Lake. So many fun things to do here in the Black Hills, too tremendous to be true. If you're here at Medicine Lake, you could go to Medicine Flat Creek, and a nice close by hotel is Best Western Inn At Sundance. Good       hiking is available along the Nilson Trail, and if you get bored of Medicine Lake you could also explore close by Hemler Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Medicine Lake without first going for a hike along the Table Mountain Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Medicine Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mountain View Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Rocky Ford Reservoir. Medicine Lake gets                  very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically June, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. All year is a great time in the Black Hills if you adore the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Medicine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hawken Ranch and Hawken Guest Ranch is a glorious site for that, and Rodeway Inn Sundance Mountain Inn is a fine spot to get some rest. Don’t forget to check out Medicine Flat while you're here at Medicine Lake, and the top of Green Mountain is easily made out from Medicine Lake. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Medicine Lake. A golf course next to Medicine Lake is Sundance Country Club, and you can go for a hike on the Lanning Trail.
