Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Bighorn Mountains rocks! Meadowlark Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Lake View Campground is a tremendous local campground, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Bull Creek. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Meadowlark Lake. If you came to camp Lake Point Campground is a fine place to       do that; a good site for whitewater paddling is Paintrock Creek.; the month with most of the snow is April, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Cliff Lake Trail is always a fine adventure, and you can run the rapids of Tensleep Creek. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more fun things to do here in the Bighorn Mountains. Near Meadowlark Lake you locate the Main Paint Rock Trail which                  is a brilliant hiking trail; Big Horn Ski has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Warner Draw if you're here at Meadowlark Lake, and as expected, this is a magnificent area for folks who like lakes, West Tensleep Lake is a lake close by. During the warm months highs here at Meadowlark Lake reach the 60's with overnight lows in the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Meadowlark Lake drop into the 0's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains.
