This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Tensleep Creek; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Angeline Trail. The Bighorn Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Lake Mead is frequently a rather dried out location; April is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month of the year is February. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here       at Lake Mead. There's so much to do here at Lake Mead that you need to camp here for a while, Highland Park Campground is a magnificent spot for that. Lake Mead is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Circle Park Campground is a tremendous local campground; most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Diamond Lake is just a very short distance away. On a magnificent day at Lake Mead you can take a hike along the Penrose Park Trail; unsurprisingly,                  this is a pleasant area for people who like lakes, Cloud Peak Reservoir is a lake close at hand. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Bighorn Mountains.
