During the days of summer highs here at McLaughlin Reservoir Number 2 reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at McLaughlin Reservoir Number 2 dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is located in the wonderful Laramie Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.       Tie City Campground is a fine campground nearby; don't leave McLaughlin Reservoir Number 2 without first going for a hike along the Horse Creek Trail.
