Get drenched paddling on Tensleep Creek; if you came to camp Lake View Campground is a splendid place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Mistymoon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; a lake nearby is Maybelle Lake.       Lake McLain is frequently a relatively dried out place; April is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month is February. There's so much to do here at Lake McLain that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Creek Campground is a fine location for that, and if you need a site to stay Sheridan-Days Inn is a tremendous choice. Any time is a great time at Lake McLain if you fancy the outdoors. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Powder River - North Fork,                  and since you're here you can take a hike along the Angeline Trail. If the weather is magnificent here at Lake McLain, you can go for a hike along the Solitude Trail, of course you could also have a look at East Tensleep Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. So many amusing things to do in the Bighorn Mountains, not enough time. Through the summer months at Lake McLain temperatures are typically in the 60's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 30's.
