A pretty lake like Hump Reservoir near McKinnie Reservoir is a good spot to pop by, and camping at Greybull Koa Kampground is always a wonderful experience. Lake McKinney Dam is pretty and it's close to McKinnie Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Budget Host Wheels Inn is a nice location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Scenic views of the Big Horn Mountains are world-class, and walking trails allow for breathtaking views of the falls and the canyon. Colorful, eerie rock formations are exposed in Devil's Kitchen, located five miles from Greybull. The formations are part of the Cloverly Formation, a 125 million to 11 million year-old sequence of colorful sediments, containing important dinosaur remains. A walking or hiking tour will reveal fascinating and picturesque 'Badland' spires and weathered hills. Be sure to stop at the Medicine Lodge State Archeological Site, located about 40 miles from Greybull, it features petroglyphs and pictographs on cliff walls. Don't miss the Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite. This site is a record of the original Jurassic Park and features three-toed dinosaur tracks across a rock bed.
