    Beautiful McBride Lake has much to offer visitors. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. A wonderful location to camp here at McBride Lake is Tower Fall Campground, and there's whitewater on Boulder River for all you adrenaline junkies. You'll discover a wonderful lake called Hidden Lake near McBride Lake, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Buffalo Plateau Trail. McBride Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka  
   Range.
Be careful coming to the Absaroka Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Yellowstone North is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the Specimen Ridge Trail is always a great adventure. Summertime highs at McBride Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's,
 
               and night lows at McBride Lake throughout the wintertime generally descend into the 10's. Not much precipitation falls here at McBride Lake; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. McBride Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Pebble Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Hornaday Creek. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at McBride Lake, you could also take a look at beautiful Shrimp Lake; there are fine places to discover along the Poacher Trail.
