Maxwell Reservoir gets very little precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn, and Maxwell Dam has perfect water scenery. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Sheridan is a glorious choice; camping is available at Peter D's RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave       Maxwell Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Penrose Park Trail, and why not camp at Bramble Motel and RV Park while you're here at Maxwell Reservoir. This location is excellent, just check out all the fun stuff to do next to Maxwell Reservoir. There are fine spots to look at along the Story Penrose Trail; naturally, A spree to Allens Draw is always fun. High temperatures at Maxwell Reservoir through the warmest time of the year are in the                  80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Maxwell Reservoir.
