If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Sheridan is a perfect choice, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Roosevelt Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Tongue River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. There's so much to do here at Mates Reservoir that you       need to camp here for a while, Tongue River Campground is a great location for that. Rodeway Inn & Suites Sheridan is a brilliant place to get some rest; while you're here, you could check out South Fork Earley Creek. Mates Reservoir gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is generally the driest month. A lake nearby is Belish Reservoir, and you can go for a hike on the Tepee Trail. This lake                  is so wonderful. Antelope Butte has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and Wesley Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit. Having a perfect time at Mates Reservoir is trouble-free. Mates Reservoir is a spot with many visitors from Sheridan. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mates Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Foothills Motel and Campground. At Mates Reservoir all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's.
