Madison Campground is a glorious campground nearby, and do set aside some time for Central Plateau if you're here at Mary Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Plateau Trail is always a splendid adventure, and Mary Mountain is clearly visible from Mary Lake. It is very dried out here at Mary Lake commonly; of all the months in a year June is the       one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Go for a hike on the Ice Lakes Trail; a delightful lake like Cygnet Lakes is a great site to go to. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Yellowstone North is a good place to spend a night or two, and a spree to Mary Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Highland Hot Springs. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Mary Lake with nighttime lows in the 40's.
