Wyoming has many beautiful lakes and Mary Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. At Mary Lake you can spot Mary Mountain, and you can go for a hike on the Plateau Trail. Don't leave Mary Lake without first paying a visit to Highland Hot Springs, and everybody loves Central Plateau. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Mary Lake is unbeatable! After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Yellowstone North is a good location to spend a night or two.

| | Around Mary Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Why not camp at Madison Campground while you're here at Mary Lake, and don't leave Mary Lake without first going for a hike along the Ice Lakes Trail. Indian Creek Campground is a perfect local campground, and there are great spots to look at along the Mary Mountain Trail.
