Summertime at Mary Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Mary Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. A short tour to Highland Hot Springs       is always worthwhile, and a lake close by is Beach Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Mary Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Creek Campground is a magnificent spot for that, and the Mary Mountain Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Mary Lake. Going for a hike on the Ice Lakes Trail is always a great adventure, and at Mary Lake you can distinguish                  Mary Mountain. There is a glorious hiking trail close to Mary Lake called the Plateau Trail, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Yellowstone North is a nice choice. It is very arid here at Mary Lake commonly; June is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February.
