Why not camp at Jack Creek Campground if you're here at Martin Lake; glorious water scenery is available at Martin Lake Dam close to Martin Lake. You definitely must go for Martin Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Jack Creek Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Cody Cowboy Village. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Piney Creek Trail, needless to say you could also pop by Big Piney Reservoir       since you're here; it's not far at all. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Absaroka Range. If you came for an overnight stay Brown Mountain Campground is a great place to camp, and hey, Jack Creek is a glorious local stream. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Martin Lake; the night is a tad chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Martin                  Lake. Hiking along the Haymaker Timber Creek Trail is tremendous fun, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Greybull River. This site, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors cool stuff. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. Not much rain falls here at Martin Lake; the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.   Cody Cowboy Village, Cody 25 miles away Cody Cowboy Village is located close to all local activities including the world famous Buffalo Bill Historic Museum.
