Wyoming has many beautiful lakes and Lake Marion is one of them. Paddling on Tensleep Creek is so much fun, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Cliff Lake Trail. The skiing at Big Horn Ski is magnificent, and nearby you come across the Main Paint Rock Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. A fine place to camp here at Lake Marion is Island Park Campground, and Fortress Lakes is a nearby lake that you could take

You completely have to fancy Lake Marion. Get wet paddling on Paintrock Creek. At Lake Marion you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the snow is April, and February meanwhile is the driest month. So much exciting stuff to do in the Bighorn Mountains, not enough time. Lake Marion is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Creek Campground is a fine local campground, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Mistymoon Trail.

This lake is located in the wonderful Bighorn Mountains. Summertime highs at Lake Marion usually tend to be in the 60's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Marion temperatures dip to the 0's.
