This lake is located in the wonderful Medicine Bow Mountains. Medicine Bow Peak is clearly visible from Lake Marie, and if you come at the right time of year, North Platte River offers some good whitewater. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Lake Marie get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Marie.       This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Mirror Lake Campground, and Lake Marie is not the only spot nearby, Mirror Lake is a nearby lake. It is very dried up here at Lake Marie frequently; through the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. That right there is a load of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Medicine Bow Mountains has it all. The Snowy Range casts its shadow                  over Lake Marie, and Lake Marie is right by the Lakes Trail. Take a hike on the Medicine Bow Trail, of course you could also have a look at Bellamy Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Sucker Dam is a location that is near Lake Marie; Snowy Range has good slopes and a friendly staff. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Hiking along the Circle Trail is glorious fun, and The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a great place to get some rest. So much amusing stuff to do at Lake Marie, so little time.
