Summer at Mallard Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Mallard Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Go for a hike on the Shoshone Lake Trail; if you came to camp Madison Campground is a brilliant spot       to do that. You can run the rapids of Snake River near Mallard Lake; going for a hike on the De Lacy Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure. There is a nice hiking trail next to Mallard Lake called the Mallard Lake Trail, and if you've had enough of Mallard Lake, Teal Lake is nearby. And that's not all you can do here at Mallard Lake.
