You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Wind River Range has to offer. Not far from Macs Lake, you'll hit upon Edmond Lake which is a pretty lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Scab Creek Campground is a splendid location to camp. Not much precipitation falls here at Macs Lake; most of the rain falls throughout May, and February on the other hand is the driest. Having a glorious time in       the Wind River Range is uncomplicated. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Boulder Creek, and good hiking is available along the Boulder Canyon Trail. Throughout the warm months at Macs Lake highs are typically in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are regularly in the 20's while                  the cold winter nights at Macs Lake are in the-10's. You can run the rapids of Pole Creek near Macs Lake, and nearby Hat Pass is a good site to go. This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Macs Lake. Lakes? Sure, Timico Lake is in the vicinity, and you can go for a hike on the Lake Ethel Trail.
