MacLeod Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sawmill Park Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Hoback River. Summertime highs at MacLeod Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at MacLeod Lake. Around MacLeod       Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month is July. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area close to MacLeod Lake has to offer. The view of beautiful Corner Peak near MacLeod Lake is wonderful, and the High Line Trail offers hiking at its best. Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. Why not camp at Kozy Campground while you're here at MacLeod                  Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Colter Bay Village. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Granite Creek in a kayak; camping is available at Granite Creek Campground. And if that's not enough there's heaps more enjoyable things to do in the Wind River Range. This is a great area for folks who like lakes.
