Near Lunch Lake you come across the Pass Creek Trail which is a splendid hiking trail; Heart Six Dude Ranch is a great location to get some rest. Little Grizzly Basin is in close proximity to Lunch Lake and is a perfect location; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Sawmill Park Trail. Lunch Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. At Lunch Lake through the summer highs are in the 70's. When       the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lunch Lake. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Lunch Lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Wind River Range. Camping at Whiskey Grove Campground is always a fine experience, and going for a hike on the Purdy Basin Trail is always a pleasant adventure.                  Lunch Lake is pretty dry typically; January is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful.
