    Luce Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Luce Reservoir reach the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Luce Reservoir. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Luce Reservoir. Yellowstone Valley Inn is a fine campground nearby, and drift down the rapids of  
   Clarks Fork Yellowstone River in a kayak. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. Cody Cowboy Village is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Tippecanoe Reservoir is just a very short distance away.
These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Going for a hike along the Morrison Trail will let you absorb the natural
 
               beauty of this region; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Custer National Forest Trail. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay The Cody is a great choice; the scenery at Luce Dam is beautiful.
Luce Reservoir is located in the Absaroka Range. Luce Reservoir is mostly a reasonably dried out place; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. If you came for an overnight stay Dead Indian Campground is a fine place to camp, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Shoshone River.
Sheep Creek is a scenic stream that is worth taking a look at, unsurprisingly you could also pop by Hogan Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all.
