     Luce Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. There's so much to do here at Luce Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Dead Indian Campground is a good spot for that; going for a hike on the Custer National Forest Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Summertime highs at Luce Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally  
   in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Luce Reservoir are in the 0's. Sheep Creek is a fine location to visit; nearby you hit upon the Morrison Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail.
It is very dried up here at Luce Reservoir typically; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The
 
               Cody; whitewater paddling is delightful on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Luce Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range.
You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Why not go to Luce Dam since you're here, and get soaked paddling on Shoshone River. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. If you need a place to stay Cody Cowboy Village is a wonderful choice, and Luce Reservoir is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Yellowstone Valley Inn is a magnificent local campground.
