Lower Sunshine Reservoir is mostly a quite waterless site; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Lower Sunshine Reservoir called the Gooseberry Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lower Sunshine Reservoir. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lower Sunshine Reservoir.
