A great place for whitewater paddling near Lower Paint Rock Lake is Tensleep Creek, and Lower Paint Rock Lake is a good place to camp, Lower Paint Rock Lake Campground is a good place. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact
abundant here at Lower Paint Rock Lake. There's glorious hiking along the North High Park Trail, and The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a good spot to get some rest. Lower Paint Rock Lake is typically a reasonably waterless place;
through April this area sees the most snow, and February on the other hand is the driest.
At Lower Paint Rock Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 60's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 30's. The cold days
of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lower Paint Rock Lake plunge into the 0's.
