This lake is located in the wonderful Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail in close proximity to Lower Missouri Lake called the Circle Trail. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Lower Missouri Lake is a location with many visitors from Laramie, and skiing at Snowy Range is one of those things you just should do. This lake is       so wonderful. You can run the rapids of North Platte River near Lower Missouri Lake, and camping is available at Mirror Lake Campground. Keystone Dam is a place that is right next door to Lower Missouri Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Lakes Trail. What a spot this is for outdoors people. A lake close by is Araster Reservoir, and camping at Silver Lake Campground is always a great experience. Lower Missouri Lake is a location that is                  rather dry usually; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Having a nice time in the Medicine Bow Mountains is easy. While you're here at Lower Missouri Lake you can take a hike along the Medicine Bow Trail, and why not a little side visit to Arrastre Creek. A delightful close by hotel is The Sage And Sand Motel LLC; if the weather is beautiful, you obtain a nice view of Gold Hill from Lower Missouri Lake. At Lower Missouri Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's.
