Lower Jean Lake is a nice lake to visit. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lower Jean Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lower Jean Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. A nice location to stop at near Lower Jean Lake is Moya Canyon; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the

| | Indian Pass Trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. While you're here at Lower Jean Lake, you could also pop by pretty Upper Jean Lake; swamps like Big Water Slide near Lower Jean Lake make for tremendous spots to pop by.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder Creek, and Lower Jean Lake is right by the Titcomb Basin Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. Titcomb Lakes is a | |

nearby lake that you could visit. There's so much to do here at Lower Jean Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Fremont Lake Campground is a nice site for that.
And if that's not enough there's loads more exciting
things to do in the Wind River Range. Take a hike on the Shannon Pass Trail, and you can stay the night at Trails End Campground. Glide down the rapids of Pole Creek in a kayak; if you need a location to stay Baymont Inn & Suites
Pinedale is a brilliant choice.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and American Legion Peak is clearly visible from Lower Jean Lake. At
Lower Jean Lake you don’t see much rainfall; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
