Just getting warmed up. Good hiking is available along the Titcomb Basin Trail, and at Lower Jean Lake you can catch a sight of American Legion Peak. Not much rainfall falls here at Lower Jean Lake; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps are interesting spots and Big Water Slide near Lower Jean Lake is no exception, and a perfect site for whitewater paddling       is Boulder Creek. Stay the night at Trails End Campground; you can run the rapids of Pole Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Jean Lake; Shannon Pass Trail is a brilliant local trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Miner Lake. So many fun things to do here in the Wind River Range, too nice to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn; Moya Canyon                  is a great place to spend some time. All year is a good time in the Wind River Range if you go for the outdoors. The Indian Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. Lakes are good; Upper Jean Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Lower Jean Lake. Throughout the warm months here at Lower Jean Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Lower Jean Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
