    Why not stop by Lower Basin Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Desert Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two, and a quick tour to Fairy Creek is unquestionably a magnificent idea. Camping at Indian Creek Campground is always a good experience, and you'll find a picturesque lake called Excelsior Geyser Crater. Summertime highs at Lower Basin Lake generally tend to be in the  
   70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Lower Basin Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.
There is a nice hiking trail near Lower Basin Lake called the Mallard Lake Trail, and if you came to camp Madison Campground is a perfect place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Black Warrior Springs while you're here at Lower
 
               Basin Lake. What a place this is for outdoors people. Going for a hike on the Fairy Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and if you need a place to stay Gray Wolf Inn & Suites is a great choice.
A pleasant visit to Fountain Flats is a fine way to spend an afternoon, and there are great places to look at along the Summit Lake Trail. At Lower Basin Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June; October on the other hand is the driest. If you're interested in cool geologic traits, try Midway Bluff, and lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at Feather Lake.
