This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Ruff Lake Trail; some of the water nearby flows, like Macs Creek. So many fun things to do here in the Wind River Range, too fine to be true. Since you       might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Edmond Lake. If you need a location to stay Best Western Pinedale Inn is a delightful choice, and there's whitewater on Pole Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. Be careful coming to Lovatt Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. There's perfect hiking along the Horseshoe Lake Trail. There's so much to do here at Lovatt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Boulder Campground                  is a fine place for that. Man, is there loads of exciting things to do in the Wind River Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lovatt Lake; Lake Ethel Trail is a perfect local trail, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Boulder Creek.
