Hope Lake is a nearby       lake that you could visit, and Lost Wilderness Lake is right next door to Edelman Pass which is undeniably worth a visit. From Lost Wilderness Lake you acquire a fine vista of Black Rib; on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Cliff Lake Trail. At Lost Wilderness Lake during the summer months highs are in the 60's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 30's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's, and through the dark hours                  in the wintertime at Lost Wilderness Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. If you come at the right time of year, Paintrock Creek offers some nice whitewater; there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the North High Park Trail.
