    Lost Twin Lakes is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Lost Twin Lakes is a fine spot to visit for more than one day, Lake View Campground is a fine spot to camp nearby, and wonderful hiking is available along the Solitude Trail. Don't leave Lost Twin Lakes without first going for a hike along the Mistymoon Trail, and float down the rapids of Powder River - North Fork in a kayak. Summertime at Lost Twin Lakes comes with high temperatures  
   in the 60's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lost Twin Lakes.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lost Twin Lakes, you could also stop by scenic Lake McLain, and at Lost Twin Lakes you can catch a glimpse of Darton Peak. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great world it would be. Lake Creek
 
               Campground is a good local campground, and get soaked paddling on Tensleep Creek. Lost Twin Lakes is usually a relatively arid location; the month of April is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is February.
You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Bighorn Mountains. If you need a site to stay Sheridan-Days Inn is a perfect choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains. That right there is loads of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Bighorn Mountains has it all. Maybelle Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; you can go for a hike on the Angeline Trail.
